We were piloting a mentoring program for ERG leaders and managers involved in developing and supporting employee networks. There were 34 mentoring pairs in the 2021 edition of the program.
We prepared all participants for their roles through online mentoring workshops. Mentors explored how to best support their mentees while mentees learned how to best benefit from the mentoring relationship and set up efficient goals.
The mentoring program was designed for 6 months (from June to November 2021). Mentoring pairs were advised to meet at least 5 times. Both mentors and mentees could access a dedicated mentoring Helpline.
